BUSHFIRE ZONED BUILDING
With regulations changing all the time within the building industry, its important to keep up to date with the latest requirements.
Bush fire risk assessments and subsequent bush fire zoning is a requirement passed onto homeowners whilst submitting many Development Applications through council these days. Our idyllic Northern Beaches location is surrounded by a lot of bush. Though this provides a wonderful outlook and a home for our native flora & fauna it also brings with it an increased risk to your home from bush fire every summer.
Due to this risk, when looking to build on bush fire prone land, there are a complex maze of reports, consultants and BAL ratings (bushfire attack levels) to navigate through. Not to mention additional building requirements to meet the regulations for building in bush fire zones.
David Ferrari Constructions have now done several projects for clients building in the 2 most severe bush fire attack zones….. BAL 40 and BAL FZ (flame zone) These previous projects have exposed us to the building methods and materials required to build for our clients on bush fire prone land.
Building with David Ferrari Constructions will allow you to benefit from our previous bush fire experience to ensure your project runs smoothly, gets the appropriate certification and of course most importantly stands up to Bush fire attack. If you are considering a new build, an extension or a renovation on a bush fire affected property. Please get in contact to discuss with our builder David what solutions we can offer you.
MINI EXCAVATOR & DUMPER
David Ferrari Constructions have invested in our very own Mini Excavator and Dumper for use on our building projects. Using this allows us to complete foundations, leveling work and move bulk material quickly and efficiently for our clients.
Using our machinery means we can also offer our clients a solution to excavation projects with the tightest of access. Our machine can get through a standard doorway width, allowing us to complete projects in the most difficult of situations. Certainly better than a shovel and pick!
After excavation we can then move on with the building work and finish up your extension / renovation giving you a one stop shop service!
If you have any questions regarding your tight access excavation project give David a call to discuss!
